Thriller Manju, who has directed Jayahe and also played a key character, has tried to make the movie entertaining for the masses. Manju has utilised Ayesha’s karate skills to the optimum level by including several stunt sequences instead of sentiment and romance-oriented sequences.
The drawback is the lack of comedy, which is essential for the audience to sit through the film. Ayesha’s dancing skills are also not up to the mark.
The movie is about Jaya (Ayesha), the daughter of software engineer Sushilkumar (Avinash). Khan, an underworld don, kidnaps Sushilkumar. Jaya tries to learn the whereabouts of her father but in vain.
Jaya then approaches Drona (Thiller Manju), a martial arts expert, and requests him to teach her martial arts. The climax of the movie is how Jaya teaches Khan a lesson.
It is not clear what prompted the director to include Jay Akash and Gauri Pandit in the star cast. They do not do much in the film except for mouthing a few dialogues and running around trees in a song sequence. They have been portrayed as investigation officers but look like tourists.
However, Ramesh Bhat and Avinash played their roles well.
The movie is worth watching if you are interested in action scenes.
