Stunt master-cum-director Thriller Manju is the happiest person in Gandhinagar, the hub of filmrelated activities. The reason: The success of his latest film Jayahe, all across Karnataka except Bangalore.

The film was released at Kapali theatre but the screening was shifted to Kailash theatre after two weeks.

“The agreement with Kapali theatre was for screening Jayahe for two weeks. I got good response from Kapali for two weeks. The film is now doing well at Kailash theatre,” said Thriller Manju with a smile.

Now, Manju, who has tasted a success at the box office after 10 years, plans to dub Jayahe in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. “I am very happy with the success of Jayahe. I am busy with the dubbing of the movie in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi,” he said.

Manju has not only directed the film but also provided the script, screenplay, dialogues and even the music. “I also played heroine Ayesha's martial arts teacher,” he said.

The director said that cinegoers in other parts of Karnataka had appreciated Jayahe. “There are repeat audiences at many district headquarters.

I plan to release the movie at 15 more theatres in North Karnataka and Mysore regions by next week,” he said.

The film made heroine Ayesha, who hails from Tirupati, famous overnight. As a child artist, she made her debut in Sandalwood with the film Shabda, directed by Manju more than a decade ago. “I never expected to act as heroine in a film directed by Manju Sir. I am very happy that my maiden film as heroine is doing well at the box office,” said Ayesha, who is all set to act in Hindi and Tamil films also.
