BANGALORE: A day after 'Shwet Ashwa', the famed motorcycle display team of the Corps of Military Police (CMP), created the Guinness World Records with 48 persons on a single, moving 500cc Royal Enfield motorcycle, the team for the first time on Sunday displayed its daredevil acts, including the world record stunt, in front of the public.

The spectators at CMP drill ground were left spellbound when the team performed the 'Scissor Crossing' and 'Parallel Crossing', wherein the riders in two groups sped crossing each other.

The helicopter, crocodile, three-man ladder climbing, bar exercise, chest jump, 11men lotus, joker action and salute, spiderman, reverse aeroplane, reverse standing on the petrol tank, circle exercise, monkey fight, moving temple, golden eagle and Sudarshana Chakra were some of the other performances that thrilled the audience.

On the world record, Naik Subedar M G Rajan, the team leader, said, "We have been practising very hard for the last four months. During the course, we practised many risky stunts and during one such practice session, a rider of the bike fractured his leg." He added that the team was looking at breaking more records.

On Sunday, the reunion of CMP was held. It started with the wreathlaying ceremony at the CMP Centre War Memorial. Also, the kith and kin of the martyrs who had come from all over the country were felicitated on the occasion.
