BANGALORE: With the aim to strengthen its television content division, India’s renowned studio Saregama India Ltd is all set to launch a new game show titled Mummy and Me from September 25 on Surya TV.

The company known for several popular non-fiction shows has successfully completed 100 episodes of its previous show Rani Maharani. Another mega serial titled Raaj Rajeshwari is slated to start on Mahua Bangla from October 25, which is based on the subject of socio-mythology.

Saregama India Ltd went live with Pondatti Thevai on August 16 on the Sun Network which stars film actors Mayilsamy, City Babu, Ramji and a host of other popular comedy artistes. Earlier Saregama India had produced non fiction shows like Athipookal, My Dear Bhootam, Velan, Soolam, Raja Rajeshwari, etc.

B R Vijaylakshmi, general manager, Audio Visual Media said, “Saregama is known for rich production qualities.  Our latest serials and non-fiction shows are going to be no different.’’

Apurv Nagpal, MD, Saregama, adds, “Television remains a key thrust area for us as we continue to focus on creating great content. Our regional offerings have continued to grow year on year, and we look to grow further.’’

Saregama has also developed a state of the art shooting facility at DumDum, wherein there are facilities like an AC floor, a readymade rich house, middle class house, temple, hospital, jail, a natural lake, gardens, roads, village, etc, which is already the shooting base for shows like Dadagiri, Dance Bangla Dance, Saregama Lil Champs , etc.
