In the words of Michelle Holly, “Don't grow up too quickly, lest you forget how much you love the beach.” Beaches are the perfect solutions for one fighting against the stress that life throws at you. The smell of salty water, wind in your face, the gentle roar of waves all combine to create a sense of peace and calm. Goa's Baga beach is one such beach which lets you escape into one such feeling of serenity.

This beach looks like it has come straight out of a painting — majestic white waves rushing to wipe out imprints left by your white on the white sand while the wind continues to flirt with the palm trees. Baga beach not only has a calm side to her but also gives her visitors an action packed time.

If you want some adventure, Baga is the right place to start. For sure, Baga Beach in North Goa may be touristy and lovely but for those who like action, it’s one of the most happening beaches on the coast. The beach enjoys a pleasant monsoon from June to August and a slightly chilly winter from December to February. The beach huts are closed during the monsoons, although many nightspots are open.
