The Gir forest, the temple town of Somnath or the food treats in Ahmedabad, Gujarat has much to offer to the traveller and for those still not convinced, the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited (TCGL) is hosting country-wide seminars highlighting destinations in the state.
On July 27, a two-hour programme hosted by TCGL at a Bangalore hotel, featured presentations on tourist spots in Gujarat by Sanjay Kaul, managing director, TCGL. A dance troupe also put up performances of dandiya and garba.
“The main purpose of this event was to provide a platform for communication between businesses like tour operators in Gujarat and Bangalore. We have already conducted successful campaigns in Chennai and Delhi,” said Kaul.
Several travel and tour agencies from Gujarat like A to Z Travels and Gujarat Trails and Travel participated in the seminar too.
