If you always wanted to type in Hindi or another regional language but did not have the patience to install separate fonts or bad with spelling, Quillpad is the answer to your problems.  Quillpad Roaming, a user friendly Indic input software, will allow users to type words using the English alphabet and will translate them into the Indian languages.

Quillpad’s predictive input technology automatically converts local language words written in English into native script, will now be available directly where the user needs it, said Ram Prakash, Founder and CEO, Tachyon Technologies.

How it works: Open roaming.quillpad.in in your Google Chrome browser and select your language. Input the website that you wish to use with quillpad (eg facebook) and you can start typing in your own language using everyday English alphabets by right clicking on a text box and selecting quillpad mode. Eg: kya kar rahe ho will be translated into Devnagari script by Quillpad.  Currently, websites like Yahoo, Facebook and even Aadhar pages are supported.
