Man has a short span of life. In the four stages that comprise infancy, teenage youth, and old age, he has to complete his task. Hence, it is important to seek the company of those who have freed themselves from Maya and ignorance. Only those enlightened persons who have comprehended the reality can awaken a person who is wallowing in illusion. But the mind is reluctant to wake up to the ultimate reality and to shed its veneer of ignorance. Blessed is that moment when enlighten dawns upon a man. But most people are overcome by Karma, and are eternally deprived of such a moment. Awaken, my child, and make time for contemplation. Though you have finished thousands of births and cast aside millions of roles, you continue to perform owing to your past Karma.
Born in a new life with an old mind, it amounts to foolishness to waste the present in anticipation of the future. Engage in meditation and contemplation to achieve spiritual progress and to banish anger. Let you get a glimpse of the anger, envy, sorrow, jealousy, vice, desires, lust, misery, grief, and the doubts within yourself. At least, you should realise that you have encountered the light (Guru) that will awaken you. An ignorant child does not that it is hungry, and continues to wail in vain. However, it stops crying once it has its food. But substituting food by anything amounts to misreading the entire problem. Wailing may be the result of many things. But a discrete man tries to arrive at the reason for such a behaviour. Likewise, when we encounter problems in life, it is foolishness to compound them by complicating the issues. To solve these problems, it is imperative to seek refuge in the Guru. But if the problems continue to persist, it can be inferred that the person has not found the right Guru.
Start searching for the right Guru from today. If your search is intense, you will find him. This life is a blessing from God it is a result of the good deeds acts committed in the previous lives. Life is small And most of it is spent in dreams; only few seconds are spent to grasp the reality. But if you allow those few seconds to be engulfed by Maya, you will only be accumulating more karma. Since Guru is eternally awake, He ensures that even you gradually awaken to reality. Renounce condescension and do not become a pretentious pupil. Empty yourself and become child-like to get a new lease of life.
Illusion is dangerous for man. Together with ignorance, it makes a dangerous combination. But nevertheless, it is very attractive and seduces a person. But this voice is the one which will awaken you from the slumber. It has the power of the Guru tradition, and the love of a mother’s call. But a mind overcome by arrogance fails to hear it. Practise silence from today. Make justice to the role that you have donned and ensure that the play does not stop halfway.
