BANGALORE: Four years after Nasreen Sattar, daughter of Abdul Sattar Sait, owner of Safina Plaza, the first mall in the city, was charged, a court acquitted her citing lack of evidence.
The Cubbon Park police had in 2014 filed a case against Nasreen for allegedly abusing and threatening the franchise manager at Bowring Institute for refusing to exchange items brought to the store and for not offering credit.
In September 2018, the VIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court in the city acquitted Sattar of all charges and dismissed the case due to lack of evidence.
