BENGALURU: As many as three persons including two women are in a critical condition after the car they were traveling in lost control and fell down from the flyover on Ballari Road in the city.

The incident took place around 4 am when Varun Jain (31), accompanied by his sisters, Chitra (25) and Ruchita (23), were returning to Bengaluru city from the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA). They had been to the airport to pick up Varun’s father.

As they came near Raitha Santhe circle, Varun lost control, rammed and broke through the embankment, causing the car to fall down about 30 feet.

Passers-by rushed the injured to a nearby hospital where they are now being treated. The officials said the victims were out of danger. “We are trying to contact the family members to know more about them,” the police said.
