Court allows NGO to submit objections to Mohammed Nalapad Haris’s bail

The sessions court on Saturday considered the petition filed by advocate Alam Pasha who had approached the court seeking permission to submit his objections over granting bail to Mohammed Nalapad.

BENGALURU: The sessions court on Saturday considered the petition filed by advocate Alam Pasha who had approached the court seeking permission to submit his objections over granting bail to Mohammed Nalapad Haris. Mohammed is accused of assaulting a 24-year-old Vidvat Loganatha in Farzi Cafe in UB City on February 17.

Alam Pasha, on behalf of an NGO, Helping Citizen, submitted his petition stating that the accused Nalapad is facilitated with all powers as his father is an MLA. Thus, granting a bail to Nalapad is not a fair decision.

Pasha told The New Indian Express, “My petition before the court was partly accepted and I am allowed to assist the special prosecutor. However, the court did not permit to argue independently. Thus, I am preparing the required arguments opposing the bail which will be heard by the sessions court on Monday”.
