BENGALURU: With reference to the report titled -- ‘18.6% of Bengaluru inaccessible to physically challenged’ that appeared in The New Indian Express on August 19, the 18.6% figure relates to just one of the accessibility parameters among the locations assessed through the Association for People with Disability’s (APD) crowdsourced platform ‘Yes To Access’ (YTA). It does not represent the overall accessibility of public spaces in Bengaluru.
