CHENNAI: Chennai-based software development and IT consultancy services UniMity Solutions Pvt Ltd announced the launch of a solution for building enterprise communities. Called UniMity PeoplePower, this platform benefits the company by leveraging the power of social media and building an active and vibrant employee community.
Speaking at the launch J Krishnan, managing director and chief executive officer of UniMity Solutions, said, “Keeping in view the fact that tomorrow’s businesses are about communities, this new platform will equip enterprises to nurture communities for employees and other stakeholders, enabling them to connect with each other, creating a sense of identity and belonging, and leading to enhanced performance.”
On the company’s expansion plans, he said, “We are confident of exceeding `50 crore by the end of three years and we are looking for investment partners for funding of US$ 3 million to take the solutions to the next level through innovation.” Bhaskar Ramamurthi, Director, IIT Madras, who was present at the occasion said, “I am impressed at the way corporate organisations are tracking the revolution in social media networks and launching initiatives to provide proactive environments.”
