Parry's Nutraceuticals launches new 'wellness' brand

Aiming to increase the number of outlets selling their products to 60,000 in the next one year, Sajiv Menon, business head, Bio and Nutra, Parry Nutraceuticals said that they are aiming for a pan-India presence with their new brand ‘Parry’s Wellness’.

Speaking at the launch of ‘Parry’s Wellness,’ Menon said that their products were currently being sold in about 40,000 outlets across the country. “With the launch of ‘Parry’s Wellness’ we hope to integrate them and up their sales,” he said.

Stressing the need for taking in the right nutrition in today’s on-the-go lifestyle, Menon said that Parry’s Wellness attempts to bring forth the concept of wellness by giving out information on the subject of nutrition and diet, interactive forums where users can put their doubts to a panel of experts. “We wanted to spread the message of wellness and the launch of this brand will help us immensely,” he added.

The brand, which is to be an umbrella for the Parry Nutraceuticals-OTC product range, would promote the concept of balanced nutrition. Menon said that the products formed a supplement for the a balanced nutrition.

Diet and nutrition consultant, Sheela Krishnaswamy who was part of the launch stressed the importance of good nutrition and the role it plays in one’s physical and emotional well-being. “A balanced diet and nutrition will ensure all round development,” she said.
