A suspected short circuit in aKolkata-bound Indigo flight, carrying 161 passengers, led thepilot to abort it moments before take-off here today.
Airport sources said the pilot noticed smoke in theengine and immediately alerted airport officials.
The passengers of the Indigo Airlines were offloadedsafely, they added.
