There is nothing for you to become by using Jnana. Except to be yourself and recognise the fact that you are Atman. The need is to remove the delusion that you are a sorrow-stricken Jiva so that you are always ‘Paramananda’.
Jnana only removes delusion. It is only the destroyer of the illusion and not the creator of things. It is already there and does not need to be created.
You should say ‘Aham Brahmasmi’ by resting in that state. Nothing is gained if it is simply repeated like a ‘Mantra’. When you say I am Brahman, you must have in your mind the signs of being a Brahman - its eternal nature and its blissfulness. This repetition along with its experience is Jnana with experience.
The ability of doing everything and the ability of knowing everything is not the sign of Parabrahman. You are Parabrahman in the form of Sat-chit-ananda and without any doer ship, experiencership, knowership nor do you have any name and qualities etc. Know this and be free from all doubts.
The sign of the state of Brahman does not lie in the presence of great ability in action and Jnana, but in being free from them.
Jnana and Vairagya are Inseparable: To obtain the Jnana state or its experience you need Vairagya along with Jnana.
It is of little use to master Jnana with the intellect alone and Vairagya is obtained by the conviction that the world is unreal and sense objects are unreal and root out his attachment to them. This practice of giving up attachment is Vairagya. It is impossible to obtain Atman-Jnana unless you root out desires from the mind and give up attachment to the worldly life.
Just as the boat may be in the water but water must not get into the boat, as water in the boat will sink it. You may live in the house with your relatives but make sure that the house, relatives, and the world do not get into your mind. Allow the external world remain outside and be free from ‘Vasanas’ (desires or cravings) to attain Vairagya.
Most of the people want all the fruits without working for it. That is not possible. The Sadhaka must start giving up greed, emotional attachment and keep practising it sincerely and to become one with ‘Atman’ means to remain as ‘Atman’.
If you realise the secret of the Atman with the help of Sadhana, you will get the supreme bliss while the desire for lowly external happiness will vanish. Guru and disciple, God-devotee are but one Atman.
Know it convincingly by experiencing it. But you are in the habit of being with the ego and have attachment with worldly objects. So you should give up this habit and take the right path and then it will be possible for you to sit on that throne of Jnana.
