A notification issued on the National Green Tribunal (NGT) website has indicated that the composition of the Southern Bench of the green court is set to change with former Madras High Court Judge, P Jyothimani, being posted as the judicial member.
Justice M Chockalingam will move to the Central bench in Bhopal. The change in the roster of the sittings would come into effect from July 1. However, it is not clear from the notification whether the changes mean a permanent transfer of the judicial members to the new benches or if it is a temporary measure.
