Pedo Planet, an exclusive pediatric dental center opened its third branch in the city, in Anna Nagar on Sunday. The clinic has branches in Velachery and Porur and the centre is India’s first network of pediatric dental centres.
Pedo Planet has a team of specialists comprising pediatric dentists, orthodontists, oral and maxilofacial surgeons and pediatric anesthetists, catering to the dental needs of children.
Pediatric dentistry is a lesser-known branch of dentistry. Pedo planet does not have even an ounce of a resemblance to a hospital set up, as it looks like a play area with a slide, see-saw, a drawing board, soft toys and so on.
The centre focuses on the concept of the first dental visit where dentistry is pleasantly introduced to the child and making it the most pleasant possible experience for the kid.
