CHENNAI: The State government on Wednesday transferred IAS officers heading various key departments.
U Sagayam, Managing Director, Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society (Co-optex), has been transferred and appointed as Director of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy. He replaces Selvi Apoorva who will be taking over as the MD of Co-optex. Rajesh Lakhoni, Energy Secretary, will be assuming charge as Secretary, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Lakhoni will continue to function as the Energy Secretary.
C Samayamoorthy, Joint Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, will be taking over as the Director of Employment and Training. M Veera Shanmugha Moni, Commissioner of Labour, has been appointed as Secretary, Labour and Employment Department.
Jagmohan Singh Raju, on reversion to State cadre, will be taking over as the Managing Director of Small Industries Development Corporation (SIDCO). V Amuthavalli, Joint Secretary, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, will be assuming charge as the Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Small Industries Corporation (TANSI). K Nagarajan, Joint Secretary, Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Warehousing Corporation.
Dev Raj Dev, former Secretary, State Human Rights Commission, will assume office as the Commissioner of Disciplinary Proceedings, Coimbatore.
