CHENNAI: The 11th Graduation Day of Prathyusha Institute of Technology and Management was organised on April 19. As many as 530 students, including 422 under graduate and 108 post graduate students, received their degree certificates. The rank holders who were felicitated were V J Vedhanayaghi from ME Structural Engineering, Mary Leema Rose A from ME Computer Science and Engineering and D Vinoth Kumar from the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The principal highlighted the involvement of students and faculty in innovative research projects in association with various industrial organisations such as National Institute of Wind Energy, Harita Tech Serv Pvt. Ltd, and through technical training programmes such as IBM Career Education Programme, CISCO Networking Academy, Infosys Campus Connect and others.
P Sivakumar, director, Combat Vehicle Research Development Establishment, said, “I observe the strenuous efforts taken by the organisation in educating their students to deliver innovative solutions for various Engineering and socially-relevant issues, thereby enhancing the country’s economic future and making the students globally competent.” The university rank holders were also awarded cash prizes.
