Formatting options
Bold: Use an asterisk before and after the word or sentence to make it bold
Eg: *Happy Birthday*, will appear as Happy Birthday
Italics: Use the underscore (_) before and after the word
Use _turn right_ to make it appear like this: turn right
Strike out: Use the tilde (~) before and after the word
~today is a good day~ will appear as today is a good day
Word docs and PDFs
Allows word documents and PDFs to be shared via WhatsApp. Have an exam tomorrow? Don’t sweat it! Those notes can all be shared in WhatsApp groups.
Desktop and Web app
WhatsApp has launched applications for both web and desktop. So you can charge your phone and still stay connected to WhatsApp. You can also prevent constantly looking at a small screen.
