CHENNAI: The first cohort of student entrepreneurs graduated from iB Hubs Startup School ‘18 this week at Hyderabad. The student entrepreneurs found themselves in a perfect ecosystem at this unique four-week acceleration programme to transform their ideas into reality — all for zero fee, zero equity.

Over the four weeks at iB Hubs Startup School, the students learnt everything from building a product to mastering the lean startup methods. They also learned about building a team, legal aspects of start-ups, different ways of fundraising and much more.

The students received one-on-one mentorship from experts at iB Hubs. The programme also featured talks from industry experts and seasoned entrepreneurs. It provided the students with a comprehensive exposure to entrepreneurship from those who already walked the path.

In the final week, they learned the key aspects of Intellectual Property and Crowdfunding. Satish Kataria, MD and co-founder, Catapooolt, spoke about how it can be a powerful way to raise funding for start-ups and briefed about the laws related to it. Pooja, from Vakilsearch, explained different forms of intellectual property and its laws in India and internationally.

The second cohort of iB Hubs Startup School ‘18 started at iB Hubs Lucknow on June 11, 2018. To know more and apply for next cohorts, visit: ibhubs.co/startupschool
