HYDERABAD: Morning Walk, the maiden production venture of Inox Motion Pictures; is all set to hit the theatres on the June 26. Inox Motion Pictures is part of the same group as multiplex chain Inox Leisure Limited. Directed by Arup Dutta, Morning Walk stars veteran actors Anupam Kher and Sharmila Tagore along with Rajit Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Shayan Munshi and Nargis in pivotal roles. Child actor and Balika Vadhu girl Avika Gor also makes her on screen debut with the film.

Morning Walk is a beautiful and heart tugging tale of two families different from one another yet connected through a special bond. One morning walk changes everything in Professor Joymohan’s (Anupam Kher) life.

After suffering a heart-attack one morning, on his birthday, Joymohan who lives on his own in Kolkata, realises that he needs to spend more time with his family —son (Rajit Kapoor), daughter-inlaw (Divya Dutta) and granddaughter (Avika Gor) and mend broken bridges of the past. He surprises them by moving to Mumbai to stay with them. Life takes a twist one day when he is out for his morning walk and meets an old student and a friend Neelima (Sharmila Tagore), now a mother of two, who carries with her a strange but surreal truth. Neelima’s bright and beautiful daughter, Anjali (Nargis), dreams of pursuing her doctorate in the US, and is encouraged by her doting mother and boyfriend Ajay (Shayan Munshi), an upcoming singer who will go to any lengths to put a smile on her face.

The music of the film has been composed by Jeet Gannguli and the melodious songs have been sung by renowned singers such as Ustad Rashid Khan, Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal etc.

“Morning Walk marks our foray into production and we have ensured that the film appeals to family audiences.
