Patiala House
Akshay Kumar might have lost his Midas touch in the past couple of years with some high profile debacles such as Tasveer and Chandani Chowk to China but his movies are still highly anticipated.
Patiala House has the tentative release date of 11th Februaury, 2011. Akshay will star opposite Anushka Sharma and will be seen with his mother-in-law Dimple Kapadia as well as Rishi Kapoor and Prem Chopra. The movie is directed by Nikhil Advani.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
The public’s expectation from its director Zoya Akhtar are high, not only because she belongs to an extremely talented film family and has the support of her elder brother Farhan Akhtar and father Javed Akhtar, but also because she has proven herself to be an accomplished director with her last movie Luck By Chance. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is a romantic film starring Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and Katrina Kaif. So far the release date is expected to be May 27, 2011
Ra.One
Ra.One is said to mean Random Access - Version 1. The star cast includes none other than the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan (SRK), cast opposite Kareena Kapoor. It is touted to be a science fiction superhero movie. It is being directed by Anubhav Sinha and co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. The tentative release date is June 2011. The special effects team for this movie has been hired from Hollywood and Akon has also recorded a song for this movie.
My Love Story
A Salman Khan movie is guaranteed a grand opening, especially these days when he is flying high on the success of Wanted and Dabangg. In August, My Love Story is scheduled for release.
The star cast includes Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor. It’s an action romance, directed by Siddique Lal and produced by Atul Agnihotri.
