BIG 92.7 FM organised a two-day kite festival and colourful Rangoli competition, along with Ashray Akruti at Polo Army Grounds on January 14 and 15.
Amidst the soaring of kites and escatatic screams of children, 40 professional kite flying experts, from different parts of the country, were found vying for the honours maneuvering their huge kites in the sky.
The Rangoli competition, with its colourful patterns and floral decorations, added festive flavour to the surcharged atmosphere. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, inaugurated the competitions in the presence of guest of honour, Prasad Rao, IPS, Commissioner of Police, actresses Sneha Ullal and Madhu Shalini, BIG FM‘s RJs and Ashray Akruti kids.
The funds collected from this festival will be contributed to Ashray Akruti.
