Two persons were hospitalised with serious injures after the bike on which they were travelling hit a police vehicle at Bokkuguda locality in Ghatkesar on Monday.
According to police, the two persons were under the influence of alcohol and were riding when they lost control of the bike and hit the police jeep.
"Around 9.30 pm, the jeep was parked on the roadside as cops were engaged in routine vehicle-checks. The two persons, in an inebriated condition, ran their bike straight into the jeep," sub-inspector S Shiva Prasad said. The jeep's rear portion was completely damaged.
