Discourse on Lalitha Sahasranamam in city

HYDERABAD: Recitation of Lalitha Sahasranama Stotram will help people to excel in their respective professions, Sri Paripoornananda Saraswati Swamiji of Sreepeetham, Kakinada, has said.

The Swamiji on Thursday inaugurated 82nd Gnana Yagna Pravachanam, a 31-day discourse on Lalita Sahasranama stotram, at NTR Stadium here on Thursday.

Knowledge about the origin of each name of goddess Lalitha will help mankind know the significance of one’s life on earth. “Each name in the Stotram has great power and will help one to overcome problems in life,” Swamiji said. The discourse will begin at 6 p.m. daily till May 5. The discourse is aimed at making people know the significance and power of Lalitha Sahasranama Stotram.

Deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha’s wife Padmini, Justice Narasimha Reddy, BJP leader NVSS Prabhakar and others were present.
