Following disturbances in Eamcet engineering certification verification in Seemandhra region, the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has decided to postpone the exercise of web options scheduled on August 22. In a press release here on Wednesday, the APSCHE has announced that they will announce the date of web options later.
The certificate verification was conducted for rankers from 30,000 to 45,000 on Wednesday. Over 4,000 candidates attended the 17 counselling centres of the 37 centres in the Seemandhra region.
Of the three new counselling centres opened in the Seemandhra region in addition to the existing 34, the APSCHE was able to start counselling process at two places at JNTUK Vizianagaram and Ongole Women’s degree college, but the protestors obstructed the counselling at Ambedkar University in Srikakulam.
The counselling at all 22 centres in Telangana region passed off peacefully.
