Rs 57.50 crore released for Bangaru Thalli

The state government on Monday released Rs 57.50 crore for Bangaru Talli programme as a grant-in-aid to the women development and child welfare department.

A government order to this effect was issued and the department was asked to obtain orders from the nodal agency for SCP and TSP for funds from the sub-plan. Further, it was asked to prepare guidelines for the implementation of the scheme.

Panel Reconstituted: The state government has reconstituted the core committee for the implementation of recommendations of the second administrative reforms commission. A government order to this effect was issued on Monday.

Chief commissioner of land administration (CCLA) will be the chairman of the new core committee. Director general and executive director of CGG will be the member-convener.

The other five members of the committee are: principal secretary (GPM&AR), general administration department; principal secretary, finance department; secretary (IT&C), secretary to general administration (services) department; and secretary, law department.
