In a major reshuffle of IPS officers, the state government has transferred 40 officers and gave them new postings.
The notable transfers include posting of CV Anand, who is additional commissioner of police, Traffic, as commissioner of police Cyberabad. Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, who was in this position till now has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, North Coastal Zone.
Similarly N Madhusudan Reddy, commissioner of police, Vijayawada and B Srinivasulu, deputy inspector general of police, CI Cell, Intelligence have swapped places.
