Indian Bank has launched seven new mobile and net banking services in Chennai.

According to TM Bhasin, chairman and managing director of the bank, customers who have registered their mobile number with the bank can avail several facilities such as SMS alert from the bank conveying their available balance in all savings and current accounts. Customers can also register their standing instruction, through Internet banking, for transfer of funds to savings bank, current account, recurring deposit or loan accounts. Customers will get SMS alerts whenever lien/hold is marked on their deposits, return of cheques and migrant workers can remit funds to their family member’s account through SMS money transfer facility.
