The Special Operation Team (SOT) police arrested an accused on Monday in connection with a 2006 espionage case. The accused has been identified as Shaik Kashmani alias Akbar Ali. Kashmani was convicted in another case and was in a Agra jail. He was released from the Agra jail on Monday. Soon after being released, the SOT police arrested him and brought him to the city. He will be produced before a local court on Tuesday.
