HYDERABAD: The nomenclature of the Social Welfare Department has been changed to Scheduled Caste Development Department. Orders to this effect were issued on Saturday, following directions by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The name change has been effected for better focus on the development of Scheduled Castes.
