Pursuing his Passion

HYDERABAD: At an age that most youngsters spend their watching movies, bunking classes and juggling with exams, 18-year-old Rajesh Kumar Nalla is carrying out the activities of a managing director. Heading a one person company (OPC) that was started in October 2013, the young lad ventured out to follow his interest. “I used to play a lot of video games when I was young. Though I spent hours playing, I always wondered about what goes into making video games. I always had a number of questions in my head,” he recalls.

What started with his questions when he was a kid, went on to develop an interest in fast growing technology.“I was interested to find out how to create a video game and now I think about how to further develop and design,” he shares and goes on to explain the services of his company. “Our company, Techimax IT Services Private Limited that currently has over twenty employees offer cross platform mobile application services to clients. We develop a single code for a particular application that allows it to be used across all operating systems – Android, iOS and Windows for now,” he says.

The services of this company cater to the needs of application developers. In this age, where technology is undergoing a transformation every day Rajesh tells us this sevice is cost-effective and time sensitive. “If the code is not cross platform, the client will have to pay for every single operating system. The time taken to develop a code for every platform is also higher. This is a better option for clients,” explains Rajesh, who  started learning and implementing net, php, java, flash, python, ruby on rails based applications and designing websites from class six. He later also worked in visual effects and animation. In short, he developed at the speed of the speeding technology after discontinuing his studies and entered the field to be a full-time entrepreneur. One among the very few companies that develop cross platform mobile applications, the company was registered as an OPC, only five months after the Ministry of Corporate Affairs passed the Bill for permission. “It was in April 2013 that the Bill was passed and registrations began in the month of August. We registered in the month of September,” he informs. The company last offered their services for the Photo Trade Show that took place in November. They created a database that is now being used by all people in the photo industry.

They also created a cross platform application for EditPoint. “EditPoint offers editing sevices for photographers. We created an app for them, that is flexible on all operating systems at a lesser price. It has been tested and will be launched soo,” shares Rajesh. The company currently has five clients among which one is based in the United States.
