Before the extra hot radiations of the sun start the wreckage at your scalp, it is time  you gear up to give that extra care to your locks and protect them. Here are simple home remedies that can help you get rid of dandruff and provide  extra nourishment to your hair.

Applying curd to your hair can work wonders with it. Just apply curd from scalp to tips and leave for 30 minutes to one hour, after which you can wash your hair with mild shampoo.

Tobacco is often mistaken for being harmful unless used in the right way; soak tobacco leaves in coconut oil for five to six days, squeeze the leaves into the oil and apply that oil to your hair regularly to prevent hair fall caused by dandruff.

Hibiscus petals are known to be a panacea for hair problems. The hibiscus flowers should be boiled in coconut oil, the flowers should be squeezed to obtain the sap from the flower. The oil should be left to cool down and then it should be applied to the hair regularly for good results.

Soak a few fenugreek seeds in water overnight and grind it into a smooth paste, apply the paste to your scalp and leave it for 20-30 minutes and wash off with mild shampoo.

Soak rose petals in warm water and squeeze them, massage your scalp with that water for half an hour before hair wash.

This last tip is a little difficult one to follow yet is the best way to do away with dandruff trouble. You need six spoons of henna powder, six spoons of hibiscus leaves powder ( dried and ground to powder), one tea spoon eucalyptus oil, two tea spoons lemon juice and a few table spoons of coconut milk. Mix all of them together and apply it to your scalp, leave it for 30 minutes and wash off your hair. This not only removes dandruff but also fosters healthy hair growth.
