HYDERABAD: Deputy Chief Minister and education minister Kadiyam Srihari on Thursday announced the TS Eamcet - 2016 results in Hyderabad.
The results are only concerned with engineering and agriculture courses and students aspiring for MBBS and BDS courses in Telangana have to take TS Eamcet-II to be tentatively held on July 9.
“Engineering classes will start from August 1. But admission schedule will be released only after inspections are completed in private engineering colleges,” said Kadiyam Srihari after announcing the results.
Interestingly, while students from Telangana secured top ranks in AP Eamcet, AP students ranked among toppers in the TS Eamcet.
Among the top 10 rankers, six candidates in engineering stream and three in AM stream belong from Andhra Pradesh.
Bojja Pradeep Reddy of Kadapa in AP got first rank in agriculture and medical stream followed by Somala Prathyusha of Miryalguda and Mohammed Arbaz of Vijayawada in the second and third ranks, respectively
