

HYDERABAD: We often see messages saying, "Let's be best friends till the last breath," posted by some friends on the wall of their bosom buddies on social networking sites such as Facebook.
Here is a real life tragedy wherein a Malaysia-returned software engineer took his life, by jumping before a running train in Hyderabad today, unable to bear the heartbreaking death of his close pal. A 28-year-old Ramesh, employee in a private hospital, and a 28-year-old Hari Krishna, an IT professional, had been best friends.
They had been living together in a rented house in Hyderabad, till yesterday. They together enjoyed weekends by watching films and going for shopping. But, their bonding was ruined when tragedy struck them today. Hari Krishna and Ramesh were returning to home on a bike in the wee hours of today.
Ramesh was pillion rider. As the bike reached Moosapet, an unknown truck hit the motorcycle. In the mishap, Ramesh received serious injuries and died on the spot. Upset over sudden death of Ramesh, Hari Krishna, who had survived the accident, went to Railway tracks at Bharath Nagar and committed suicide by jumping before a moving train. Hours after Hari Krishna's suicide, local people noticed his body and informed the police.
This incident took place in Kukatpally police limits. According t police, during investigation, it was revealed that Ramesh and Hari Krishna were best friends. Unable to digest the death of his friend Ramesh, Hari Krishna too ended his life. The two youngsters were natives of Vepakampally village of Karakampudi Mandal in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh.
