Majlis Bachao Tehreek to hold Milad-un-Nabi jalsa today in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Old City-based political organisation Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) held a meet on Friday to announce that like every year, it will be holding a programme jalsa Milad-un-Nabi on the eve of Prophet Mohammad’s birth anniversary on Saturday. The organisation holds the programme on the first Saturday following Milad-un-Nabi every year and it will be the 26th time when it will be celebrating it. 
MBT spokesperson Amjedullah Khan will be addressing the programme to be held at Government Junior College, Chanchalguda at 7 pm. Hazrath Allama Mufti Masood Ahmed Barkati of Jam-e-Ashrafia, Mubarakpur in Uttar Pradesh and Amanath Ullah Khan, MLA with Aam Aadmi Party from Delhi will be the chief guests at the programme. 

The programme will be attended by religious scholars from across India. Jalse Milad-un-Nabi is being celebrated for the last 25 years and was first started by late Gazi-e-Millat Amanullah Khan, the founder of MBT.The reception committee at the programme will be headed by Hazrath Moulana Syed Sha Hamed Hussain Shuttari, president, All India Sunni Ulema Board. Majeed Ullah Khan, president of MBT will preside upon the Jalsa.

MLC Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Zakir-e-Ahle Baith Shoukat Ali Mirza, Alhaj Moulana Haseeb Ul Hassan Siddiqui, General Secretary of Sunni Ulema Board will be among the ones addressing the programme. Special arrangements are being made for ladies on the ground floor of the college. A big screen is also being set up for the public to watch Jalsa Milad-un-Nabi celebrations.
