HYDERABAD: Geeta Goti, National President,  Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE) said it is time we identify the right people in  the state interiors, hone their skill  and train them to become independent entrepreneurs who can contribute to the  state’s economy. She was speaking at the  valedictory function of the 100th EDP and  Certificate Presentation programme at Country  Club on Friday. This was in continuation of COWE’s  International Women’s Day celebrations.

Geeta interacted with the participants from Yellamma Tanda near Ibrahimpatnam and shared tips on how to go about their business. COWE had trained them in the relevant skills and facilitated bank loans too. KVK Scientist Vidyadhari, DRDO senior scientist Sarada Voli, COWE founder and director Uma Gurkha, Meetu from Mumbai chapter, member director Suma B Kumar vice-president Rama Devi, and other COWE members Vandana and Lalita and TPC Raju were also part of the event. KV Ramaiah, SIDBI AGM, shared entreprenual tips with the participants.
