HYDERABAD:Two sisters, Masarath Khatoon and Mahanoor Khatoon, ever since their college days observed that dark coloured burqas, veils and stoles would fade over a period of time. Hence, after extensive research, they found out that harsh chemicals in detergents were the reason why their stoles and burqas fade away so easily. Their research was started off with feasibility study of the product and assessed market potential for the same. After preliminary research they have found out that millennials today love to look confident and need the right clothes to carry themselves. Taking this as base, they had finalised to jump into entrepreneurship to solve this concern. FIEFIA Vurqa Wash is the first exclusive product in India, to take care about burqa’s.
Speaking on the occasion, Khatoon said, “We wish to spread the message of women empowerment and entrepreneurship through initiatives taken by FIEFIA. Test Marketing is now a great trend and people are willing to try new products.”
In the next six months, she plans to take Vurqa Wash through basic distribution channels and online marketing. Offline, the product will expand to tier-two and tier-three cities in the next 10 to 12 months. This is the first exclusive product for burqas, the sisters said.
