KOCHI: You just received your salary cheque. You were very sure that it would allow you to meet all your expenses but suddenly something happens which makes you either commit or spend it all.
The car breaks down or the plumbing leaks, the list goes on...Has this got to do with bad feng shui or is it just bad planning or bad luck? You are at a grocery store, standing in line. The cashier is impatient and you try to leave as fast as you can. In such a situation, do you take a minute to count your change, and put it away properly? Most often you just push it into your pocket with no thought except to get out of there.
According to feng shui principles, this actually shows disrespect to your money. Try to step aside for a moment to put your money away properly and ensure that you have got the right change.
In feng shui, although the primary focus is energy movement, a logical approach to organising things and keeping them accessible is of equal importance. Many have what is known as ‘clutter in the pocket’ ; ‘clutter in the handbag’ for ladies. But money carried properly in a ‘wallet’ or handbag has to have an exclusive compartment for the notes; they should not be a part of all that goes into the handbag or wallet.
A black wallet with golden or yellowish brown interiors is said to be a good ‘feng shui wallet’ as the colours represent the elements water and metal which are harbingers of wealth. Ladies should carry smaller wallets of the supportive element colours inside their handbags for the desired effect.
Whatever you do, ensure that the money you carry is not part of your cosmetics and hair-accessories.
Even a red wallet is considered to exude ‘Yang energy’ so it can be used to carry the cash in your handbag. You can get a money envelope or make an envelope which is red in colour, infuse it with your intentions and put three metal coins in it. Keep your intentions clear as feng shui principles dictate that intentions are 90% of the actual cure.
In feng shui we designate certain areas of the home to our money concerns. Enhancing them will certainly help us bring about prosperity into our lives. Placing greenery or even paintings which are predominantly green in colour in the east and south-east sectors of the living room and areas close to the entrance will activate good fortune. Green is always considered the colour of money with purple acting as the accent colour.
Wish you plenty of luck with money through good feng shui.
