KOCHI: Philips has launched a new entertainment solution — Philips DVD player DVP3608 — in Kochi. The 5.1 DVD player with 108MHz video processing for sharp and natural images comes with component video for optimised image quality.
The 310-mm player plays most video formats and comes with a high speed USB 2.0 that plays media from USB flash drive.
Another key feature is one can create MP3 files directly from a CD.
This easy to use feature makes the product more consumer-friendly.
Speaking on the launch, Anjan Bose, VP and Business Head, Consumer Lifestyle, Philips India, said, “The company is introducing value products in our portfolio. This new offering from Philips is completely designed for local markets and will offer wider choice that will cater to a broader market spread across the country.”
The new offering comes with high-end features and is available at an affordable price. It is priced at `1,999.
