KOCHI: The Sacred Heart College, Thevara, is gearing up for the inter-collegiate fest ‘Tandav,’ one of the most awaited events of the year.
Tandav, the talent hunt, being organised by the commerce department will be held on January 6 and January 7.
The first day will cover all commerce-related events and second day will feature cultural events.
Earlier, Tandav was organised as a cultural event featuring dance and music contests.
Now it is back after a three-year gap, said college principal Johnson X Palackappilli.
As many as 4,000 students from across colleges in the South are expected to participate.
Commerce-related events include business quiz, best manager, mock trading, crisis management, advertise a product and treasure hunt while the cultural fest will showcase thematic dance, the most popular of the show, solo dance and solo song.
The contestants of Indian Voice, a reality show on TV, will perform at the event.
The entry fee is `100 and `150 for participants and `50 for non-participants.
Prizes worth `1.20 lakh will be distributed.
