A youth was arrested by the police for selling ganja to school and college students from Konthuruthy area on Monday.
The youth was taken into custody by the shadow police after monitoring him for the last few days.
According to the shadow police officials, the arrested person was Jino Jose 22, Mammalimukku near Thevara. He used to buy ganja from Idukki in bulk and to sell it at a high price to the customers who were mostly students.
The shadow police seized 360 grams of ganja while taking him to custody. Later he was handed over to the police officials at the South police station.
