The Indian Society of Authors (Kerala Chapter) on Saturday held a full-day seminar on “Introduction to Ayurveda”, the recent publication of Dr M S Valliathan, former Director of Sree Chithra Institute of Medical Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram, and former Vice-Chancellor of the Manipal University, at the Maharaja’s College auditorium here.
Justice V K Mohanan, judge, High Court of Kerala, who inaugurated the seminar, spoke on various Acts related to Ayurveda.
Dr C K Ramachandran, former Professor of Calicut Medical College, delivered the keynote address. Valliathan was honoured during the seminar.
