Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Fertilisers, V K Subburaj visited the Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT) the other day. He held discussions with FACT chairman and MD Jaiveer Srivastava, company directors and other senior officers during the visit. Issues currently faced by FACT, including development and expansion projects and proposals, were presented before him by the officials.
FACT authorities said that Subburaj looked into the details of each project and promised all possible assistance for speedy clearance of the proposals by the Central Government. Subburaj visited the plants at Udyogamandal and Ambalamedu and also inspected the FACT import-export installations at Willingdon Island.
