The Senior Journalists’ forum honoured veteran journalists V P Ramachandran and Fr George Veliparambil in Kochi on Wednesday. Veteran Journalist T V R Shenoy delivered the keynote address.
P Rajeev MP who spoke on the occasion said that there was a time when the journalists shared a special bonding.
“But now it has become a thing of the past. The younger journalists are not even ready to check the accuracy of the details before writing a story. This situation should change,” he said.
V P Ramachandran also spoke on the occasion. P A Alexander,the president of senior journalists forum, presided over the function.
