Jesus Calls Ministry Services and Indo Overseas Film have informed that the movie ‘Son of God’ will be released in theatres nationwide on April 25. “The movie is an experience that has to be shared among families and communities across India. The film brings the story of Jesus’s life to audiences through compelling cinematic storytelling that is both powerful and inspirational,” a press release released here stated.
Dr Paul Dhinakaran of Jesus Calls Ministry Services said that ‘Son of God’ is not just a movie worth watching but is a gift worth experiencing. “The movie enables every citizen in India to get a visual treat of this movie depicting the true life story of Jesus, thus inculcating the much needed love and compassion in each and everyone’s life today,” he said.
Told with the scope and scale of an action epic, the film features powerful performances, exotic locales, dazzling visual effects and rich orchestrial score from Oscar winning Hans Zimmer. Portuguese actor Diogo Morgado portrays the role of Jesus. The movie features never-before-seen footage, a theatrical edit and 5.1 surround sound mix that adds to the rich experience, the release said.The movie is directed by Christopher Spencer and duration is 138 minutes.
