KOCHI: Registration for Beedi workers, under the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) will be open until August 31, informed the Welfare Commissioner.
The workers are required to submit photocopies of ration cards and the beedi worker Identity card (form - E) for registration. They have to bring the original documents for verification. Those who fail to register will not get the benefits under the scheme.
The last date for the submission of applications and the related documents for grant of financial assistance for the education of the wards of beedi, limestone, dolomite mines and cine workers for 2014-15 has been extended to August 30, 2014.
