KOCHI : The fourth edition of the Manappuram Miss Queen of India contest 2014, the much-awaited beauty pageant, will be held at the Gokulam Park Inn convention centre here on Friday.
“The event that marks the conclusion of the pageant is a three-and-half-hour programme, with three sequences and cultural programmes,” said Pegasus chairman Ajith Ravi.
The sixteen participants, Abhishiktha Shetty, Aditi Shetty, Anam Shaikh, Ashwika Omkuam, Avantisha Singh, Dimple Paul, Lopamudra Lahiri, Monika Malik, Namratha Gujaran, Raxshmi, Ruchika Sambhi, Shivika Gandhi, Snehapriya Roy, Surbhi Tewari, Tanishka Kapoor and Yashoda Jain, will walk the ramp at the grand finale for the music composed by musician Harvi. The event will be conducted by Pegasus Event Makers.
The winners will be given gold plated crowns, designed by Prakashan Parakkat. The winner of the beauty contest will get a cash prize of ` 2 lakh.
The first runner up will get Rs 60,000, and the second runner up will be awarded Rs 40,000. The contest will be judged by actors and models Niyathi Joshi, Simer Motiani, Aditi Chaudhary, Thoshma Biju, Shamna Kasim and Rotary Governor Kuriachan.
